Thayer Consulting assisted 18 Johnson County public safety agencies in implementing a variety of new information and communications systems that serve all county residents. The systems included a trunked voice radio system, CAD, RMS and mobile data systems, and multiple PSAPS throughout the county.

We assisted the County in all phases of the project, including developing specifications, selecting vendors and implementing the new systems.

Specific tasks included addressing coverage issues, defining radio talkgroups, identifying CAD/RMS modules to be utilized, assisting with interface issues and developing a middleware solution for the mobile data system.
